The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Florida is pleased to announce that Dr. Panos Pardalos will be hosting the International Conference on the Dynamics of Disasters for the second time in Kalamata, Greece from June 29th –July 2nd.

The second International conference on Dynamics of Disasters, organized in conjunction with Anna Nagurney and Ilias Kotsireas, will focus on the different forms of disasters and various methodologies for the prevention and response to these events. Participants at the conference will explore ideas in disaster communications, social networks, healthcare issues, disaster relief, disaster team coordination, humanitarian logistics, relief supply chains, spread of contagions, and mathematical modeling among many additional topics.
