INFORMS serves the scientific and professional needs of OR\/MS\/analytics educators, scientists, students, managers, consultants, and other practitioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To join the INFORMS Student Chapter at UF, please <a href=\"https:\/\/lists.ufl.edu\/cgi-bin\/wa?SUBED1=INFORMS-L\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/lists.ufl.edu\/cgi-bin\/wa?SUBED1=INFORMS-L\">subscribe to the mailing list<\/a> (need to be connected on campus or via VPN) and come to our events that include small-group conversations with visiting and local academics, peer mentoring for research in OR\/MS\/analytics, research presentations by students and faculty, professional development, tailored trainings, and social gatherings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For our current calendar, please see the <\/strong><a communication among people having an interest in OR\/MS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide an informal means of exchange about OR\/MS educational programs and professional opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide an informal means of sharing information about the methods and techniques of OR\/MS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present a forum of speakers who address OR\/MS topics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect students in OR\/MS with industry and academia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foster a sense of community among students in OR\/MS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide mentoring for students with interests in OR\/MS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div href=\"https:\/\/pubsonline.informs.org\/\">scholarly journals<\/a> that describe the latest OR\/MS\/analytics methods and applications and an industry and membership magazine with news from across the profession.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organizing national and international&nbsp;conferences&nbsp;for academics and professionals, as well as for members of the society&#8217;s special interest groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.informs.org\/Certification-Continuing-Ed\/Analytics-Certification\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">analytics certification<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;continuing education&nbsp;to assist members and others in furthering their careers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a
