The following scholarship opportunities are provided by the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering:
Scholarships
- Carlos & Olga Del Sol Supply Chain/Manufacturing Undergraduate Award ($1,500)
Criteria: Strong interest in pursuing a career in supply chain/ manufacturing and contributions to improving the ISE department, the Wertheim College of Engineering, of the University of Florida - Carlos & Olga Del Sol Industrial Engineering Leadership Award ($1,500)
Criteria: demonstration of excellent leadership and ethical traits as a student and a mentor, commitment to making meaningful contributions to a pluralistic community, and making significant contributions toward improving the ISE department, the Wertheim College of Engineering, or the University of Florida - Harbert S. Gregory (Sales) Scholarship ($1,500)
Criteria: Significant contributions toward improving the ISE department, Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, or the University of Florida through their extracurricular activities - Linda Parker Hudson Scholarship ($1,500)
Criteria: Recognizing outstanding students for leadership and global activities during undergraduate studies. Most importantly, recognizes students who have made significant contributions toward improving the ISE department, Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, or the University of Florida through their extracurricular activities - V. Mohan Undergraduate Scholarship ($1,500)
Criteria: Demonstrating commitment to leadership in the ISE community with strong academic merit and leadership potential - Gordon Byrnes Scholarship (Sales Engineering) ($1,500)
Criteria: Outstanding students with interests in sales/logistics engineering, engineering management, as well as entrepreneurship. Most importantly, recognizes students who have made significant contributions toward improving the ISE department, Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, or the University of Florida through their extracurricular activities - Leavenworth-McClaskey Scholarship ($1,500)
Criteria: Recognizing students who apply TQM/CI principles in pursuit of their engineering education. Most importantly, recognizes students who have made significant contributions toward improving the ISE department, Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, or the University of Florida through their extracurricular activities - Work-Life Balance Scholarship ($1,500)
Criteria: Students who have had positive social, academic, and leadership experiences. Most importantly, this scholarship recognizes students who have made significant contributions toward improving the ISE department, the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, or the University of Florida through their extracurricular activities - Latin American/Caribbean Scholarship ($500): If you are planning to apply for “Latin American/Latin Scholarship,” please contact the advisors or the undergraduate coordinator
- Roger Madariaga Scholarship in Industrial and Systems Engineering ($1,500) – Student involved in undergraduate research with strong academic merit

Note: Students who are in their last semester of study (in the Spring 2025 semester) are not eligible to apply!
